	The Thing [Blu-ray] Buy new: $10.49 / Used from: $11.63 Terrifying. One of the best sci-fi/horror films ever made. I hope they're teaching Carpenter's use of suspense in this film at film schools, 'cause it doesn't get any better.

	Starman [Blu-ray] Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $8.50 Touching sci-fi/action/drama with terrific pacing and wonderful performances. This one proved Carpenter could direct drama as well as suspense.
