	Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence Buy used from: $7.46 'Snake Eater' ...takes place in 1964, films made after that are pretty much from the interview with Mr. Kojima but a few are from his other games. A LOT of movies were mentioned in this game.

	From Russia with Love [Blu-ray] Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $6.89 Major Zero tells Snake about '007: From Russia with Love' and his love for James Bond. Kojima mentioned a whole bunch of James Bond movies in that article, but I believe this was his favorite. He failed to mention 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service,' which is my favorite...haha.
	Planet of the Apes [Blu-ray] Buy new: $16.99 / Used from: $9.89 I'd seen it before when I was little, but it wasn't until I was shown it again (in a class at UCLA) that I realized how incredibly good this movie really is. It's a total laugh-out-loud blast. It was mentioned in the article.
	North by Northwest (50th Anniversary Edition in Blu-ray Book Packaging) Buy new: $16.99 / Used from: $16.13 Mentioned in the article, and truly a great film. If you like it then check out some of his other films. I love Hitchcock's 'The Birds,' 'Rear Window,' 'Psycho,' & 'Vertigo.' 'Rope' is also good but as a warning, I'd see the other ones first because it's kind of like a play.
	The Great Escape (2-Disc Collector's Set) Buy new: $11.00 / Used from: $4.81 Mentioned in MGS3 and in the interview on Kojima's fav movies. If you haven't seen this film you are really missing out. Fantastic.

Mentioned in the article, Kojima said it's where he first got the idea of making a sound to distract a soldier. In MGS3 Snake also mentions a movie called 'The Big Broadcast' but I'm not sure which one that is because there seem to have been several made with that title.

	2001: A Space Odyssey [Blu-ray] Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $7.10 The floating pen scene is recreated in the Japan-only PlayStation and Sega Saturn game 'Policenauts.' There is a fan translation available online. In 'Peace Walker' the AI is modeled after the HAL-9000 from this film. The scenes where Big Boss is removing memory boards are pretty much taken straight out of this gem.
	Dr. Strangelove [Blu-ray] Buy used from: $10.49 Another Kubrick film, Kojima actually named a character Dr. Strangelove in 'Peace Walker.'
	Lethal Weapon [Blu-ray] Buy new: $7.44 / Used from: $4.45 Two of the main characters from 'Policenauts' are basically modeled after Mel Gibson and Danny Glover from this movie series.
	Blade Runner (Five-Disc Complete Collector's Edition) [Blu-ray] Buy new: $34.99 / Used from: $24.95 Influenced Kojima's SEGA CD game 'SNATCHER.'
