This movie was criminally under-rated. You will likely never see sci-fi movie like this, yet it has hints of 2001. Sam Rockwell give an unbelievable lead performance.

Werner Herzog rarely disappoints and this project is no exception. Nic Cage gives a wild-eyed performance, which also went under the radar. This movie comes in second for the criminally under-rated movie of the year.

Terry Gilliam's visual style is here and in plain view. The 'mirror worlds' in this film are dazzling and the script itself is a great thing to see unfold.

This was another film that I was very skeptical of, but wound up loving. Tarantino had produced, in my opinion, his greatest film and I frankly did not know that he had something like this in him. Brad Pitt gives a great performance in this beautifully constructed film.
