This could be the movie of the year! Jennifer Lawrence deserves the best actress Oscar. John Hawkes deserves at least a nomination for best supporting actor. The film deserves nominations for Best Picture, Director, Screenplay. Seriously trying to figure out how a better movie will come along this year. A new, bonafide American classic.

So far this is my favorite movie of 2010. I will rewatch the heck out of this movie. Pretty much the greatest dragon movie ever made.

While not entirely a necessary film, (since it's a remake of one of the best vampire movies of all time), Let Me In manages to be almost as good as Let the Right One In.

Absolutely stunning filmmaking from Joon-ho Bong, the director of Memories of Murder and The Host. But the real story is the devastating performance of Hye-ja Kim. Hey, Academy Awards, make sure you reserve a nomination for this talented lady!

Just a flat out great movie, with one of the loneliest characters I've ever seen in a film.

Affleck as a director is now 2 for 2. This is a great, gritty crime drama. Good stuff.

Quite an engaging and tense film, which is an amazing feat considering it only has three characters.

Generally I'm opposed to the notion of Horror remakes but every once in awhile we get a good one. This is a really good one.

Michael Caine never ceases to amaze. This revenge tale has some pretty shocking violence and unnerves when you realize that yes, this stuff really does happen.

If you like steamy erotic thrillers (and who doesn't) Chloe is definitely one of them. Amanda Seyfried is beyond gorgeous.

I thought this Universal throwback was great, although it turned out to be more about Anthony Hopkins. I can't wait to see the extra footage. This is a definite new Halloween tradition.

While definitely a lesser film than the first it had enough stuff to keep me happy. Also, I really liked Black Widow. A lot.

This was funny as heck, and by heck I mean hell. Seriously though, funny stuff. I laughed.

This is only for fans of wacky, over the top messed up Horror. If you can handle Fulci or Bava this is pretty solid stuff.

I really liked this movie. I really like Gemma Arterton too, so there's that.
