6 episodes cover everything from the big bang to the possible death of the universe. The CGI isn't the only outstanding imagery in this mini-series, there is a scene 17:40 minutes into the first episode; I saw the first and only imagery from a cosmology based show that made me cry.

With the exception of "Hail Columbia", you can get this set by buying the individual Blu-ray double features as listed in the next few spots. You do however get two new features while taking the Blu-ray route: "Cosmic Voyage" and "Space Station". These are great movies for those interested in human space exploration. Shown in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

This is a very lighthearted look at a world many of us don't bother to see. Insects and a massive world around them are captured in this very entertaining film.

In my humble opinion: This is Monty Python’s greatest work. This movie approaches the question of the most unobtainable answer; the meaning of life, in the most relatively easily digestible manner – humor. A masterful and truly lighthearted perspective on the deepest of humanity’s desire, the cast and crew of Monty Python delve through the ages, philosophy, universe and the complexity of life.
