Perhaps the best and most successful Horror Comedy.

Its aged a little but there's still fun to be had with this old fashion horror romp.

Cheap, nasty and completely wonderful. Looking back at it now, its hard to believe this was the kind of film Peter Jackson had become known for. Though if you look closely there are echos of Brain Dead in all this subsequent films.

Sadly underrated. Sam Raimi does a fantastic job returning to his Evil Dead roots following many years in Spiderman's web. Though its more classily produced then his Evil Dead films, Raimi obviously learnt a lot working for the studios, this film still captures the wild mania of Evil Dead and stays true to its horror promise. A knock out final scene!

This film brought confidence back to the sub genre of horror comedy and introduced many to Simon Pegg for the first time. Look out for Little Britain's Matt Lucas in one scene.

One of the most underrated films of the 90's. At the time its SFX were unrivaled. Its really mad and over-the-top with the three leads dominating even the most spectacular of FX. A cracker of an ending too!

Right from the opening titles this film is scene after scene of horror comedy fun. Jennifer Tilly steals the show and no one take anything seriously, even mocking the previous films in the series.

This gooey lolly bag of aliens, zombies and slugs tips its hat to B films of the 50's. It doesn't all work, but there are a couple of scenes that are must-see plus Elizabeth Banks and Nathan Fillion are great on screen.

Probably the most un-comedic film on this list. More ironic than funny an has a go at everything from promise rings to incest.
